Objectives

• Although not affected by the 2020 CPR, ECC or First Aid guidelines changes, NSC’s Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens training program has been revised to include the most up to date information, as well as a new design and layout. OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.1030 requires employers to safeguard employees who have reasonably anticipated exposure to blood or other potentially infections materials. This program helps reduce these risks by focusing on how to protect employees from blood and airborne pathogens and what to do if an exposure occurs.
